Bretherton W.I. meetings are currently suspended due to the restrictions of CoVid 19.

We are keeping in touch with our members through a 'buddy scheme'

The Committee is meeting remotely via video conferencing (we think this is a first for any WI!)

A help group has been set up comprised of WI members and other village residents to offer services to residents in need at this difficult time.

A bit about us...

We held our first meeting on September 10th 2015, and had a fantastic response - about fifty women attended, and there was a great atmosphere as we all found out more about the W.I. nationally, and how to set up our local branch.

Refreshments are provided at each event, along with a chance to win the raffle and to socialise.

Usually, meetings are usually held at the Congregational Hall, South Road, Bretherton, starting at 7.30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month.

Women of all ages are most welcome to come along and join us at one of the above meetings, to find out more. Several members have joined because they are new to the village or want to meet more people, so if you are in this position too don't be shy - you will not be alone and will be made very welcome.
